WWW Wednesday

Hosted by Should Be Reading.

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

-What are you currently reading?

As of the time I scheduled this post, I’m on vacation and between books. So I’m not currently reading anything (to my knowledge). Gotta love the obscurities of human space/time continuum knowledge.

-What did you recently finish reading?

In this order:

Geek Wisdom by N. K. Jemisin—it was very wise, and I truthfully learned a few things about myself while reading it.

The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin—I actually started this last summer and had a really tough time getting into it. So I refreshed myself with the first half and finished it. I still had a tough time, but I was able to finish and enjoy it.

A Wonderlandiful World by Shannon Hale—Adorable, though I did miss Raven and Apple’s POVs. That said, Maddie is always a joy, and Lizzie and Cedar were great. Looking forward to the next Ever After High book in January.

Murder for Choir by Joelle Charbonneau—I made a vow at the beginning of August—no starting a new series until I finished Skullduggery Pleasant (I’m still waiting for the last book….oiwehgoiwegoiewoinwebgweng…). But I’ve had this book on my to-read shelf for a while, and it’s the first in a mystery series, which means the books are stand-alone, which means I wouldn’t go nuts if I stopped mid-series. Right? Right. Combine that with my choir nerd tendencies, and I started Murder for Choir on Saturday. Then I finished Murder for Choir on Saturday. And then...

End Me a Tenor by Joelle Charbonneau—I read the second book because, after all, they are still stand-alones within a series, and I still don’t have the last Skullduggery Pleasant book (oiebgwengoiwebgrnbiejgoiwebfwenfoiwefoiwbgnwfe), and I’m still a choir nerd.

-What do you think you’ll read next?

If The Dying of the Light has arrived when I get back from vacation on Friday, that. If it hasn’t (eoibglwengioewnenfieofuiewnoiejioenlksnfefnowjef), I’ll read the next choir nerd book—A Chorus Lineup.
